Gold medal McLaren Vale, top gold medal Adelaide and National Wine Shows ’17. John Hugo would be justified in feeling unlucky to have not won a trophy. The seamless 75/25% blend has resulted in a palate that overflows with red and black fruits, yet is elegant and textured. Indeed there are some notes encountered in cool regions (spice and pepper and a juicy mouthfeel). 14% alc.

WINEMAKER Renae Hirsch & Brian Light What sets this wine apart?

This is the first shiraz cabernet blend produced by Hugo. Sourced from select blocks on the elevated Hugo estate and co-fermented to help integrate the two varieties, the wine then receives eight months in French and American oak with careful barrel selection before bottling.
