Wild-fermented in French puncheons, 20% new, no battonage, matured for 10 months. Gleaming straw-green; first tasted in Mar ’17. Unexpectedly, the freshness and focus is even greater now, the Upper Yarra vibrancy and length more in focus, grapefruit just in front of peach. Almost inevitably, the natural acidity provides the wine with exceptional length.
