What do you love most about your region? Mudgee is a brilliant place for winemaking. Steeped in a long-standing tradition of viticulture of over 160 years, it has been imbued with heritage from Germans and Italians whose influence has established Mudgee’s winemaking reputation. The region has great diversity in climate and soils with a range of altitudes from 450m to 1100m within the appellation. This suits a range of varieties and styles, from fortifieds to sparkling.

What sets your winery apart? Bunnamagoo vineyard is set on soil adjacent to the original site of the first grape vine plantings in Mudgee. Red loam scattered with quartz are ideal soils for growing grapes. This provides for fruit with a structure made for longevity and cellar potential. Our wines continue to excel in aged and museum classes – a great Mudgee attribute.
