How do you approach the wine and food pairing at Attica?
Our matches aren’t always wine – they can be anything from sake to beer and cocktails. The wines we do work with tend to be Australian and largely Victorian, with a few exemplary international ones too. It’s a lot of fun trying to think of different drinks to pair with Ben Shewry’s food. We try to throw out a lot of stuff that’s unique and engaging, and wines with some age on them too. We also offer juice and tea pairings for those who want something other than alcohol.
