Health coach Gina Bria and Dr Dana Cohen have co-written a book (out 2018) called Quench: Reclaim Your Energy and Health with the New Science of Hydration that demands a rethink. After researching how desert people use plants such as cactus and chia to hydrate, Bria realised the answer is gel water and electrolytes. Adding more fruit and veg, chia seeds and bone broth to your diet, or just a pinch of rock salt or dash of lime to your water will do the job.
