A busy week for ladies golf

IN a busy week for Har­vey golf, last Thurs­day saw 21 ladies com­pete in a Sta­ble­ford com­pe­ti­tion spon­sored by Jenny’s Fash­ions from Har­vey.

Pam Davey came out on top with 40 points. Run­ner up was Bev Ire­land with 38. Other good scores in­cluded Judy Muller with 36, Noe­lene Hoff­man on 35 and Jan Hunter with 34. Nov­el­ties were shared by Cathy Lo­ton, Davey and Mar­ion Tay­lor. Davey was also the gross win­ner with 28 points.

On the pre­vi­ous Sun­day the ladies were in­volved in the an­nual Har­vey Don­ny­brook Chal­lenge, how­ever Don­ny­brook had the home ad­van­tage and won that com­pe­ti­tion.

On Mon­day, April 1, the ladies rep­re­sented Har­vey in pen­nants at the Bun­bury Golf Course. Har­vey South had a win against Bus­sel­ton and Har­vey North was also suc­cess­ful over Don­ny­brook.

On Tues­day, April 2, eight ladies paired up and headed to Don­ny­brook for vet­er­ans com­pet­ing in an Am­brose event.

Pam Davey and Julie Rando came out on top with a nett 67. Jo East­cott and Mau­reen Craig and Marg Palumbo and Grace Zaba­jnik were also among win­ning scores.
