Early Mother’s Day a treat

Harvey-Waroona Reporter - - REPORTER NEWS -

AN early Mother’s Day event last Wednesday was an occasion for South West Community Care to bring out the best china for a delicious morning tea.

Activity organiser Sandra Zappia and helpers had decorated the function room beautifully and cooked up a storm of sweet and savoury treats together with volunteer Ros McMurray.

Mrs Zappia said the organisation held an event every year to acknowledge the work of mothers.

“We invited our clients to the Mother’s Day as a special event to spoil them a bit and show them how special they are,” she said.

Milton Clinch and Elaine Flint provided live entertainment and raffles and a door prize kept guests entertained until lunchtime.
