Wooltorton hits a great score of 42
ON Wednesday, August 30, the Scroungers Stableford teed off, sponsored by Garry Dawson.
Kevin Wooltorton, who started to show a glimpse of form on the previous Saturday, continued his improved form to beat a field of 39 players with an excellent score of 42 points. The great score has been reflected in his handicap which has been reduced by 1.4 shots.
Shane Parker, on one of his rare visits to the golf course, amassed 40 points to be runner up.

In the first round of club championships on Saturday, John Brislin won the monthly mug in the stroke.
Andrew Henderson, who has been working hard on his game, fired off a great 75 off the stick for a nett 68 to win the day and led after the first round of the club championships, beating a great field of 61 players. Russel Upton was runner up with 78 hits, nett 69.
