Found ring seeks ‘Cinderella’
HARVEY police are hoping for a fairytale ending after a ring was found in town last month.
The dress ring was found in the lane way next to the Senior Citizens Centre on October 13, but the owner has yet to come forward.
The ring has a distinctive design with diamonds and four coloured stones, with an inscription on the inside.
Relieving CSO Lynn Wallis said the owner should either call police or visit the Uduc Street station to claim the ring.
“Or, if the ring fits, it could be just like Cinderella,” Ms Wallis said.
The owner must be able to describe the ring and the unique inscription, or provide a photo to prove ownership.
The owner now has 60 days to come forward and claim the ring, otherwise it will be returned to the finder.
