Secure tickets to Procure
SOUTH West businesses are being urged to secure tickets to this month’s Procure South West conference with time running out before the event begins.
Innovation and technology will be the key themes of the event which aims to grow local procurement by industry and government.
The event will be held at South Regional TAFE’s Automotive Training Centre in Bunbury on November 24-25.
South West Chambers of Commerce and Industries president Patrick Warrand said the training backdrop was a perfect setting for the career-focussed second day
“This is a unique opportunity for local small and medium business people to connect with procurement managers in industry and government,” he said.
“It will also be an eye-opener from a technology and careers perspective.”
Information sessions, including “doing business with industry” and “doing business with government”, will give businesses advice about meeting the needs of government and industries plus tips on tendering.
Speakers will include representatives from South32 Worsley Alumina, Alcoa, Talison Lithium, WA Local Government Association and the cities of Bunbury and Busselton.
