Christ­mas comes early at li­brary

HAR­VEY’S youngest book-lovers gath­ered at the Har­vey Pub­lic Li­brary on Wed­nes­day for the last sto­ry­time of the year.

The usual songs and sto­ries were given a Christ­mas theme and af­ter­wards the chil­dren en­joyed fes­tive cakes and treats at a spe­cial Christ­mas party.

Each child was also treated to an early present from Father Christ­mas.

The li­brary’s Christ­mas craft runs un­til this Fri­day.

The li­brary will be closed on Christ­mas Day and Box­ing Day and on Jan­uary 1 and 2.

“We hope ev­ery­one has a safe and happy hol­i­day sea­son,” li­brar­ian Ge­or­gia Cripps said.

“We look for­ward to see­ing all our read­ers again and more and more new read­ers in the New Year.”

Khaleesi Collins, Grace Hol­land and li­brar­ian Salli Watt dress for the fes­tive sea­son. Khaleesi will cel­e­brate her fourth birth­day on Christ­mas Eve.
