Big turnout for care service’s festive lunch
SOUTH West Community Care rang in the festive season on Wednesday, with its clients from across the region enjoying the annual Christmas lunch.
Operations manager Deborah Gunson said it was the biggest turnout yet for the annual Christmas event.
“We have in excess of 90 people here today, that have come from as far south as Capel and up as far as Yarloop,” she said.
Clients were picked up and brought to Eden Grove in Harvey where the Manning Function Centre was filled to the rafters with Christmas decorations.
The lunch featured live entertainment as well as traditional Christmas cracker riddles and jokes.
