Parents enjoy morning tea

Harvey-Waroona Reporter - - REPORTER | NEWS -

PARENTS marked the milestone of their children’s first day at kindergarten with a morning tea hosted by the Harvey Primary School Parents and Citizens Committee on Wednesday.

Committee president Jon Adams said the morning tea was an opportunity to support the parents on the emotional first day of kindergarten and introduce them to the association.

“The idea is we want to give the new parents a bit of tissue time, tears and tissues, but also engage with them in the association and the canteen,” Mr Adams said.

“So they can see what we do and we can hopefully get them more involved.”
