SUP­PORT­ING pos­i­tive par­ent­ing, a sem­i­nar se­ries starts in Har­vey this week hosted by Har­vey Child Health and school health nurses.

For par­ents of kids aged 3 to 8, child health nurses Suzanne Mum­ford and Nikki John­ston will lead the Pos­i­tive Par­ent­ing sem­i­nar se­ries on con­sec­u­tive Wed­nes­days, Fe­bru­ary 14, 28 and March 7 at at St Anne’s Pri­mary School from 9.30am to 11.30am.

The free ses­sions will cover ef­fec­tive strate­gies to pro­mote pos­i­tive be­hav­iour and de­vel­op­ment, prevent­ing and man­ag­ing com­mon child be­hav­iour prob­lems and pos­i­tive strate­gies to en­cour­age chil­dren to man­age their emo­tions.

Par­ents are asked to reg­is­ter by call­ing 9729 3377 or 9795 2888 or vis­it­ing the web­site child­health@health.wa.gov.au, or sim­ply turn up to the sem­i­nars on the dates men­tioned above.
