Strong presence pays off
Harvey police have maintained a strong presence on the roads in a bid to boost driver safety.
After a routine traffic stop just after 6am on September 12, officers charged a 42-year-old Harvey woman with driving a vehicle with a blood alcohol content in excess of 0.02.
She will appear in Harvey Magistrate’s Court next month.
Officers performed a vehicle stop in Cookernup on September 11 and allegedly found the driver had never held a licence.
A 25-year-old Harvey man was charged with driving a motor vehicle with no authority to drive.
He will appear in Harvey Magistrates Court in November.
A 26-year-old Waroona man was charged with possessing a prohibited drug after a vehicle stop in Waroona on the September 15. He has been summonsed to appear in Harvey Magistrate’s Court next month.
Police charged a 26-year-old Dawesville man with possession of a prohibited drug and possession of drug paraphernalia after vehicle stop in Yarloop on September 16. He will appear in Harvey Magistrate’s Court next month.
“The last result was as part of a joint patrol with Yarloop police,” Harvey police acting Sgt Jon Adams said.
“We continue to work closely with Waroona and Yarloop, providing a greater service to the public in our sub districts.”
