The latest national survey revealed 13 per cent of Aussies are on a diet. Surprised? Actually, we thought the figure would be a lot higher!
After all, there’s no shortage of diets doing the rounds — low carb, low fat, Atkins, Weight Watchers, Biggest Loser, Jenny Craig, paleo, vegan … so, what’s the best?
Two recent studies set out to discover exactly that, and here’s what they found: 1) There’s no one-size-fits-all approach 2) Eating more plant foods is healthy, and 3) No matter which weight-loss method you choose, the one you can stick with for longer than six months is linked to success.
