Mim (Miriam Margolyes) is at an age where she doesn’t tolerate other people’s crap. She’s 70, which she reckons is the new 50, or 40, or 30, depending on when you ask her. And she’s dishing out some eccentric-old-lady behaviour, much to the despair of her middle-aged daughter. She’s written an extensive bucket list, which her daughter describes as “some horrific odyssey of sordid antics” but Mim prefers to call it “fun”. Bawdy humour, a little much too so in parts, but Mim would disagree with that assessment.
