ROAD HOUSE (1989)
The best bad movie on the books of the late Patrick Swayze (and that includes Point Break!). He plays a bizarre blend of bouncer, mystic and academically qualified philosopher wandering smalltown America “cooling down” violent nightspots. Dalton is supposed to be a pacifist, but can rarely resist punching up any goon who looks at him sideways. Do revisit this testosteronefuelled car crash soon: it’s improving with age.
