THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING
FILM. Physicists aren’t generally associated with gripping, soap opera-style drama. But this movie about the life and loves of Stephen Hawking, which deservedly scored Eddie Redmayne an Oscar, proves there is a lot of riveting action going on in those laboratories that doesn’t involve anything to do with solving complex equations. Redmayne is terrific as Hawking. By his side through it all is his devoted wife Jane (Felicity Jones) — until he shafts her for his nurse.
