AMY WINEHOUSE: BACK TO BLACK

SBS, 8.30pm

Herald Sun - Hit - - TOP PICKS -

Sit back and soak up the immense talent of Amy Winehouse, who sadly died in 2011 after a long battle with drugs and booze. She was no puppet; Winehouse wrote the tunes herself, collaborating with Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi for production, both of whom talk to the filmmakers in this behind-the-scenes special. Ronson describes her songwriting as “honesty on a page”, which paid off when the album sold eight million copies and won five Grammys.
