Liars’ An­gus An­drew is one who has had to back him­self. His pe­cu­liar, post-indie rock jour­ney be­gan with 2001 de­but They Threw Us All in a Trench and Stuck a Mon­u­ment on Top; his last two re­leases have been made solo as his out­fit dis­banded.
