MADE IN MEXICO
They say they want the world to see the real people of Mexico, but this series is set in Polanca, the Beverly Hills of Mexico City, filled with socialites and soap stars, bloggers and models. It’s the usual reality TV stuff: friendships, fights and opulent parties. The mix of English and Spanish means subtitles are required, but it’s a chance to learn some new slang, such as the word “fresa” — meaning someone who wears expensive clothes and says “like” too much. So ... basically all of them.
