THREE Australians are interested in owning a Bugatti Veyron. And another could be convinced by a deal on an ex-demonstrator car, perhaps marked down to $2.2 million.
Bugatti is handled by the Trivett Group in Australia, which is also the agent for RollsRoyce, Bentley and Aston Martin and group chief Greg Duncan says there is genuine interest in the Veyron.
‘‘We have three people looking at the car,’’ he says. ‘‘One couple is going to be driving the car soon when they are in Europe.’’
He will not give names, or even the cities where they live, but says there are Australians with the money it takes to own a Veyron.
