There’s nothing small about Minishow 2008
IT’S being billed as the biggest little car show of the year, with a display of Minis, Mokes and derivatives ranging from 1959 to 2008.
Minishow 2008 rolls into the Melbourne Showgrounds on Sunday and with a show ’n’ shine and concours, trade stands, sound-off and a people’s choice award.
The show was last held in 2004 and this year’s event is for families, so the kids are catered for with a jumping caste, free showbags and face painting.
‘‘We want to make it a show that the entire family can attend and enjoy,’’ Victorian Mini Club president James Halloway says.
It’s in that spirit that the judging of the various categories will be based on cleanliness of presentation, no matter what is being presented.
The gates open at the Pavillion Hoecker at 10am, with the event closing at 4pm. For more details, go to www.minishow.com.au
