Indy engine rules
Representatives from Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Fiat, Mazda and Volkswagen attended a meeting in Indianapolis last week to discuss engine rules for the Indycar Series. The meeting was designed to entice more competition when the series introduces new rules for the 2011 season. Also present at the meeting were race-engine builders Cosworth, John Judd, Ilmor and AER. The series is considering turbo-charged engines and using alternative fuels.
