Indy en­gine rules

Rep­re­sen­ta­tives from Audi, BMW, Chevro­let, Fiat, Mazda and Volk­swa­gen at­tended a meet­ing in In­di­anapo­lis last week to dis­cuss en­gine rules for the Indycar Se­ries. The meet­ing was de­signed to en­tice more com­pe­ti­tion when the se­ries in­tro­duces new rules for the 2011 sea­son. Also present at the meet­ing were race-en­gine builders Cos­worth, John Judd, Il­mor and AER. The se­ries is con­sid­er­ing turbo-charged en­gines and us­ing al­ter­na­tive fu­els.
