Herald Sun - Motoring - - Big Wheels -

Those ever-inventive Isuzu folks have come up with yet another way to sell trucks. The company is now offering a modified cab-chassis to suit motorhome builders direct from the factory. The motorhome-spec NQR 450 Premium incorporates an engine inspection hatch instead of the traditional cab-tile access used in most trucks. It’s all designed to make life easier for grey nomads, those 55-plus wanderers who are taking to the road on extended trips around the country in ever increasing numbers. The Isuzu NQR 450 Long Premium provides the cab-chassis for the most popular of motorhomes, the C Class. It comes set up for the open road with Isuzu’s Automated Manual Transmission, cruise control and multi-media infotainment system including satellite-navigation, with the option of reversing cameras.
