World of leisure on show at Sandown

THE lat­est 4WDs, RVs, car­a­vans, boats and camp­ing gear are at Sandown Race­course for Mel­bourne Leisurefest.

For the first time in the event’s 18-year his­tory cars form a big part of the show. Dis­plays in­volve Holden, Honda, Jeep, Re­nault, Nis­san, Mazda, Kia and Suzuki.

Th­ese are not all static dis­plays, though. You can ride along on the off-road course or do a test tow down Sandown Race­way’s main straight. Sev­eral off-road clubs are on hand to give you tips and ad­vice.

An­other ad­di­tion this year is a large dis­play of the lat­est boats and equip­ment.
