Scoot along for your chance to win
SCOOTERS are the fastestgrowing segment of the market this year and visitors to the Australian Motorcycle Expo have the chance to win one.
Honda, carsGuide and the Expo organisers are offering one lucky reader the chance to win a super-efficient Today 50.
The single-cylinder four-stroke is a tiny 71kg and has with a 5-litre tank. So, at $1.50 a litre, it costs only $7.50 to fill up.
The scooter winner will receive a double pass to the show, and there are 20 double passes to be won.
The Expo expands each year and now showcases a comprehensive range of motorcycles, riders’ gear and biking accessories.
The attractions include gravitydefying stunts by leading freestyle motocross, trials and mini-bike riders.
The best in the business will be on show from next Thursday until November 2 at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre.
Sherco Australia’s Victorian trials duo Dylan Rees and Scott Owen will showcase a precise blend of balance, precision and power and the popular Mini Moto Playground is back, a spectacle featuring adult riders on kids’ bikes.
Expo manager Mark Petersen says: ‘‘As far as value goes, you can’t beat the Australian Motorcycle Expo for its range of demos and attractions, multi-milliondollar showcase of new bike models, extensive line-up of trade exhibitors, huge apparel sale, plus the chance to win a $15,000 Honda voucher and much more.’’
Family entry is $44, adult tickets are $17 and children and pensioners will pay $13.
