Corser on a new BMW

Dual world su­per­bike cham­pion Troy Corser will join Ruben Xaus on the new BMW S 1000 RR (be­low) in next year’s se­ries. The Aus­tralian is the most ex­pe­ri­enced rider in the Su­per­bike World Cham­pi­onship with 300 starts. His abil­ity to de­velop a bike will be cru­cial to BMW’s suc­cess. The S 1000 RR has a 1000cc in-line four-cylin­der en­gine that BMW prom­ises will of­fer su­pe­rior per­for­mance, price and tech­nol­ogy. The pro­duc­tion ver­sion of the race bike will have a sports-tuned anti-skid brak­ing sys­tem. An Aus­tralian sale date is yet to be an­nounced.
