Corser on a new BMW
Dual world superbike champion Troy Corser will join Ruben Xaus on the new BMW S 1000 RR (below) in next year’s series. The Australian is the most experienced rider in the Superbike World Championship with 300 starts. His ability to develop a bike will be crucial to BMW’s success. The S 1000 RR has a 1000cc in-line four-cylinder engine that BMW promises will offer superior performance, price and technology. The production version of the race bike will have a sports-tuned anti-skid braking system. An Australian sale date is yet to be announced.
