THE Geneva show was a huge event for Aston Martin, which displayed four new models.

Apart from the Lagonda, Aston went big with the first appearance of its $1 million supercar, the One-77.

At a more affordable level, it unveiled the DBS Volante, the company’s 16th convertible.

The Volante is powered by a 6-litre V12 engine that gives the car a claimed top speed of 307km/h and a 0-100km/h sprint of 4.3 seconds.

The V12 from the Volante, with 310kW and 570Nm, is also fitted to the forthcoming V12 Vantage coupe.

The V12 Vantage was previewed as the RS Concept.
