Bring in the heavies
Indian automotive colossus Tata Motors has unveiled a new range of heavy-duty trucks (below). The models include long-haul prime movers, rigids for local and regional distribution, and vocational variants for tipping and agitator applications, ranging from 10-tonne to 75-tonne GCM. The engines range from 112-418kW, meet Euro 4 emission limits and are said to be ready for Euro 5. They’ll have air suspension, manual and automated transmissions, air and three cab variants.
