In­dian au­to­mo­tive colos­sus Tata Motors has un­veiled a new range of heavy-duty trucks (be­low). The mod­els in­clude long-haul prime movers, rigids for lo­cal and re­gional dis­tri­bu­tion, and vo­ca­tional vari­ants for tip­ping and ag­i­ta­tor applications, rang­ing from 10-tonne to 75-tonne GCM. The en­gines range from 112-418kW, meet Euro 4 emis­sion lim­its and are said to be ready for Euro 5. They’ll have air sus­pen­sion, man­ual and au­to­mated trans­mis­sions, air and three cab vari­ants.
