Vive la difference
The Euro V emission-compliant 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol or dCi turbo-diesel engines are shared with the hatch.
Ahead of the B-pillar, the clean, wellexecuted styling is the same as the hatch. It has the same 2760mm wheelbase, but the wagon is 110mm longer to create a bigger luggage area.
With the 60/40 split-fold rear seats up, there is 501 litres of luggage space, which increases to 1593 litres when the seats are folded.
Depending on the model, Laguna gets 16, 17 or optional 18-inch alloys.
Practical features include a fuel-tank flap which replaces the cap after refuelling.
The 2.0-litre dCi delivers 110kW at 4000 revs and 340Nm at 2000 revs and is available with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic, depending on the model.
The 16-valve turbo 2.0-litre petrol engine delivers 125kW at 5000 revs and 270Nm at 3250 revs and is mated to the automatic.
