Isuzu out in front
ISUZU continues to lead the Australian truck sales market having sold 4185 trucks to the end of July for an overall market share of 25.4 per cent. Perennial bridesmaid Hino maintains its vice-like grip on second place on the back of sales of 2651 trucks to the end of July, a market share of 16.1 per cent. Fuso is third with 1774 trucks sold and a share of 10.8 per cent. Isuzu topped the charts in the light and medium segments but slipped to fourth in the heavy segment. Kenworth continued its lead in the heavy segment with 14.8 per cent for the month and 17.8 per cent for the year to the end of July.
