Herald Sun - Motoring - - Bikes -

VOLVO is advising owners of trucks with airbags to have them checked once the truck is 10 years old. It says it cannot ensure integrity of the SRS airbag system beyond that time. According to the company plastic parts in the airbags age and the material’s characteristics may change. Any changes that do occur could affect the operation of the system and potentially reduce the protection it provides in a crash.
