Boom time at Holden

EX­TRA over­seas or­ders have al­lowed Holden to move back to a sec­ond pro­duc­tion shift at its Global V6 en­gine fac­tory at Fish­er­mans Bend in Mel­bourne. The move will in­crease out­put from 240 to 440 en­gines a day. The coun­tries re­quest­ing ex­tra sup­plies in­clude South Korea, China and Mex­ico. Lo­cal de­mand has also in­creased af­ter the switch to the lat­est SIDI di­rect­in­jec­tion V6s in the Com­modore.
