A-grade ex­tras for Benz B-class

MERCEDES-BENZ has added more kit to its B-class range. It has also axed the A-Class and re­placed it with an en­try 1.7-litre petrol B180. The B180 is $36,990, which is $910 less than the out­go­ing A180 five-door. The up­grades com­pen­sate for the 5 per cent lower im­port tar­iff. The B200 and B180 CDI each get more than $9000 of ad­di­tional value. The added gear in­cludes leather up­hol­stery, 17-inch AMG al­loys, CVT trans­mis­sion and ac­tive park­ing as­sist, sports pack­age and heated front seats.
