The truck stops here

Herald Sun - Motoring - - Big Wheels -

THE land that will house a $50 million mega truck-stop facility just out of Tarcutta on the Hume Highway is up for sale.

With a prime location near the truck-friendly town halfway between Melbourne and Sydney, the site will be developed into a huge truck service and rest-stop facility spanning both sides of the facility.

Once developed, it’s expected to provide parking for 397 vehicles, a 24-hour service station, food court, fast-food outlet, driver accommodation, a toilet and shower block and even a truck wash and service centre.

Tenders close August 13 for the property, which is being marketed by Colliers International and Property Edge Australia.
