Ferlazzo can’t say much yet about the hatch, but says preview pictures have already won praise on motoring blogs and websites.
‘‘It will be mostly a European and Asian vehicle. It’s not for the USA, yet,’’ he says. ‘‘But we’re encouraged and even gratified by some of the blogs from the US, saying they’d like to see it in the States.’’ And what about the car itself? ‘‘We’ve taken a sedan body style and given it a refreshing hatch look. If you didn’t know you’d think the hatch came first,’’ Ferlazzo says.
‘‘We’ve been able to maintain a fast coupe roofline but still with competitive cabin space. I think that will be quite appealing.’’
