Bravery on the road
THE Australian Trucking Association wants help naming a new bravery award. It will recognise acts of bravery by Australian truck drivers and is to be presented as part of the National Trucking Industry Awards at the Australian Trucking Convention. ATA chairman David Simon says the ATA wants to have the industry’s input into the naming of what it believes will become one of trucking’s most prestigious awards. Names can be sent to ATA awards secretary Steve Williamson at Williamsons@atatruck.net.au until 5pm on November 30.
