Bronzed Aussie

PETER Brock will be­come a bronzed Aussie four years af­ter his death in a West Aus­tralian rally. The Peter Brock Foun­da­tion has com­mis­sioned 15 bronze stat­ues of Brock based on a 1984 im­age of the nine-time Bathurst win­ner. The sculp­tor is Stephen Glass­borow (right) whose pub­lic works in Aus­tralia in­clude Sir Hu­bert Op­per­man, John Cole­man and Lionel Rose. The 90cm stat­ues will cost $12,000 each.
