The Vic­to­rian branch of the Mus­tang Own­ers of Aus­tralia, will host its an­nual Mus­tang Round Up and State Con­cours at the Dan­de­nong Show­grounds, Ben­nett St. Club hopes to have more than 300 cars on dis­play rang­ing from the 1964 model to the cur­rent model. Trade stands, parts and ac­ces­sories ven­dors, cars for sale and more. There will also be cars en­tered into three judged classes — Orig­i­nal Con­cours, Mod­i­fied Con­cours and Show ’n’ Shine — these are only open the club mem­bers as var­i­ous en­try con­di­tions ap­ply. The fi­nal round of the 2010 Club Chal­lenge Se­ries con­ducted by the MG Car Club will be at Rob Roy Hill­climb, Clin­tons Rd, Christ­mas Hills. Of­fi­cial timed runs from 9.30am. En­try forms on the MG web­site, un­der Rob Roy, and en­tries close on Oc­to­ber 20. Spec­ta­tors $10 a head or $15 per car. Ph: 9722 9000.


The Hazel­wood Car and Bike Show is open to all makes and will be held at the Hazel­wood Pondage Car­a­van and Camp­ing Grounds, Yin­nar Rd, Yin­nar. Club and trade dis­plays, power boats, a show and shine and 70 tro­phies. En­trants $10 and need be be parked by 9.30am. Pub­lic en­try from 10am, gold coin gift. Pro­ceeds to La Trobe Spe­cial De­vel­op­men­tal School.
