NISSAN is finally apologising for killing the Pulsar in Australia.
‘‘Sorry,’’ Toshiyuki Shiga, the chief operating officer for Nissan, tells
‘‘We did not understand the situation in Australia. I continuously receive pressure to revive the name of Pulsar.’’
Shiga admits he was the one who pushed the change from Pulsar to Tiida in Australia, and also admits it has been a failure.
He is now happy to accept a backflip from Tiida to Pulsar.
‘‘Maybe during the 2012 plan you will have the Pulsar again in Australia,’’ Shiga says.
