EV­ERY cars­Guide reader can have their own say on Car of the Year 2010, thanks to the Peo­ple’s Choice award.

By vot­ing for their favourite car from six cat­e­gories, seven win­ners — one in each state — will each win an iPad, and seven run­ners-up will each win a $200 shop­ping voucher.

To en­ter, go to­ and vote for a car in each cat­e­gory, and when you choose your over­all favourite tell us in about 25 words why it earned your vote, and your con­tact de­tails.

The wit­ti­est an­swers from each state will take the prizes.

As well as the over­all Peo­ple’s Choice, the vot­ing cov­ers con­tenders in six cat­e­gories: Best Fam­ily Car, Best First Car, Best Pres­tige Car, Best SUV, Best Sporty Car and Best Com­mer­cial.

From these, you’ll also be telling us your choices for Aus­tralia’s best over­all car voted by men and best over­all voted by women.
