THE Aus­tralian dis­trib­u­tor of Higer buses has in­tro­duced a spe­cial rapid re­sponse team to en­sure the buses of cus­tomers stay on the road. A team of en­gi­neers from the Higer fac­tory in China will fly to any lo­ca­tion to quickly fix is­sues. Based at WMC’s head­quar­ters at Milpera in Syd­ney, ser­vice man­ager Chen Xin Ming and tech­ni­cian Chen Zhongy­ong will over­see the ser­vice, WMC boss, Ja­son Pe­cotic, says: ‘‘While be­ing one of the largest global man­u­fac­tur­ers, Higer is a rel­a­tively new brand in the Aus­tralian and New Zealand mar­ket and hasn’t yet had time to es­tab­lish a rep­u­ta­tion for re­li­a­bil­ity and dura­bil­ity here.’’
