MY 1993 4.2-litre dual-fuel Nis­san Pa­trol runs fine on LPG but idles roughly and cuts out on petrol. I have twice had it to the garage but they can­not fix it. Could you shed some light on this prob­lem?

Keith Wil­son, Be­nalla It’s most likely that the fuel pump is worn out and needs re­plac­ing. It of­ten hap­pens when you run the petrol level down too low.
