HSV OWN­ERS CLUB VIC­TO­RIA

More than 60 ex­am­ples of fac­tory Holden per­for­mance cars — in­clud­ing HSV and early Brock HDT clas­sics, from 1980 to the present — will be on dis­play as part of the HSV Own­ers Club of Vic­to­ria’s Royal Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal Good Fri­day Show and Shine. Over the past 10 years, the club has raised more than $20,000 for the hos­pi­tal. The cars on dis­play will be com­pet­ing for the Graeme Monk Me­mo­rial Tro­phy. South­bank Boule­vard from 9am-4pm. En­try is free, but a do­na­tion to the Royal Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal Good Fri­day Ap­peal would be ap­pre­ci­ated.

ROSEDALE SPEED­WAY

Fi­nal meet­ing for 2010-2011 sea­son. Ex­pect to see wing­less and mini sprints, VSC sprint­cars, Divi­sion 2 hot rods, Marsh mod­i­fieds sedans and men’s, women’s and ju­niors’ stan­dard sa­loons. Rac­ing starts 4pm. Fam­ily $40, adults $15, chil­dren (12-16) $10. In­quiries: 0408 051 344.
