T’s a jolly good fellow
THEY don’t make ’em like that any more. Thankfully. The Model T Ford may have been a pig to drive but that did not deter Edinburgh car dealer Henry Alexander shoving one up the UK’s highest peak, 1344m Ben Nevis, 100 years ago this week. To mark the centenary of the five-day hill climb over boulder–strewn tracks and to raise a few quid for charity, two tweedy chaps — Neil Tuckett and Jamie Davidson (pictured) — have sought to do the same. Good show, chaps.
