2012 People’s Choice Award

Have your say about the best cars of the year

Herald Sun - Motoring - - Car News -

AFTER intense testing and even more intense debate, the Carsguide judges have chosen their Car of the Year for 2012. Now it’s your turn.

We want to hear what you think of the current crop of cars. Every Carsguide reader across Australia can voice their own opinion on the best cars of 2012, thanks to the People’s Choice award.

And by voting for a favourite car in each of five categories, you could win $5000 and a year’s supply of Oscar Natural shaving gels and oils, created from pure plant extracts.

People’s Choice voting in previous years has been as intense as the battle for the Australian car buyer’s attention and wallet. There have been clashes over the three big brands that build locally, face-offs among homegrown vehicles and popular imports, and even skirmishes between front and rear-wheel drive models.

In addition to the overall People’s Choice winner, voting will decide your favourite cars in the five categories: Best Family Car, Best First Car, Best SUV/Recreational, Best Sports/ Luxury Car and Best Trade/ Commercial.

To enter the Carsguide Car of the Year People’s Choice, vote for a car in each category. When you choose your overall favourite, tell us in about 25 words why, and include your contact details. You’ll be judged on the quality of your answer, and you can still win even if the car you choose doesn’t win People’s Choice.

Our team of experts has culled the field to five contenders in each category. Now it’s up to you, Australia. Which is your favourite car?
