My 2002 base manual Honda Jazz — it’s red but turning pink, unfortunately — will not die. It’s now at 425,000km with the original clutch and engine untouched and it seems to run as new. It’s serviced at local servo and the only non-running costs are wheel bearings a long time ago under warranty and, recently, brake and clutch master cylinders. And these, in view of the distance covered, could be regarded as running costs. I can’t complain. Graeme Paton, email Your Jazz is one of the many reasons why Honda cars have such a great following today.
