Rolls Royce has delivered 30 Phantoms worth more than $26 million, its largest order to date. Property tycoon Stephen Hung bought them for Macau’s Louis XIII Hotel, opening next year.
It was crunch time for one of Google’s driverless cars in Mountain View, California, when a Lexus driver ran a red light, T-boning the car. Google says its car had a green light for at least 6 seconds before entering the intersection: “Human error plays a role in 94 per cent of these crashes, which is why we’re developing fully self-driving technology to make our roads safer.”
A driver in WA lost 20 points in 90 minutes in a double demerit period. She was first fined $950 and lost 14 points for using her phone and not wearing a seat belt. Police spotted her on the phone again so she lost another six points and copped a further $400 fine.
