Rolls Royce has de­liv­ered 30 Phan­toms worth more than $26 mil­lion, its largest or­der to date. Prop­erty ty­coon Stephen Hung bought them for Ma­cau’s Louis XIII Ho­tel, open­ing next year.

It was crunch time for one of Google’s driver­less cars in Moun­tain View, Cal­i­for­nia, when a Lexus driver ran a red light, T-bon­ing the car. Google says its car had a green light for at least 6 sec­onds be­fore en­ter­ing the in­ter­sec­tion: “Hu­man er­ror plays a role in 94 per cent of these crashes, which is why we’re de­vel­op­ing fully self-driv­ing tech­nol­ogy to make our roads safer.”

A driver in WA lost 20 points in 90 min­utes in a dou­ble de­merit pe­riod. She was first fined $950 and lost 14 points for us­ing her phone and not wear­ing a seat belt. Po­lice spot­ted her on the phone again so she lost an­other six points and copped a fur­ther $400 fine.
